My favorite memory about jewelry is when I received my engagement ring as a gift wrapped up on Christmas morning. Such a special memory for me :)
My favorite memory pertaining to jewelry was when I got my high school class ring! It was the first real piece of jewelry I received that meant something ;-)
My best jewelry memory is of a jade necklace that belonged to my grandmother. She was such a sweet lady, and excellent grandparent. When I picture her today, I always see her with that necklace.
I can relate to all of your responses so far! I got my engagement ring 2 days before Christmas. I didn't get a traditional class ring but I got a sapphire ring (school colors were blue and white) in its place and I still love it. But my favorite memory was for my 28th birthday, I got a very special ring that was my great grandmother's as a gift. Priceless!
I would have to say it was getting a diamond necklace from my mom on my wedding day. Now that she has passed, it means even more to me. I will cherish it forever!
My special memory is when my husband and I got engaged. We were in St. Maarten just shopping and I ended up seeing a gorgeous ring..he bought it and proposed on the cruise ship!
My favorite memory is when my mom gave me a diamond ring for my sweet 16 birthday. I will pass it down to one of my girls.
My favorite memory of a piece of jewlry was when I received the first ring my Dad had given my Mom before they were married. He got it when he was in Vietnam. I used to put it on when I played dress up. It's such a special ring and am so grateful that I have it!
My favorite memory of jewelry is the pave' diamond heart pendant that my grandmother bought me for my birthday to wear in my wedding. That necklace and I have been through the ringer! I accidentally dropped it down the drain while cleaning it...DAYS later my husband took apart the piping (not just the catch) and it had wound itself around a piece of copper piping left from the old pipes in our walls. Then, last year I went to touch the pendant and it was gone from my chain. I cried and cried over the loss as my grandmother just died. A very dear friend of mine helped me to find it in a very amazing way... it was in three pieces. My mom just brought it back to me repaired. I LOVE that heart, and what it stands for...even though it's been broken and lost, it always comes back to me in whole. XOX Love your stuff Jamie!
LIke some others on here, my favorite memory would have to be when I got my engagement ring. We had just closed on our new house that we had built together and he purposed to me up in our bedroom, which was completely empty :)
My favorite is my most sad, but I will cherish it forever. I gave my bff a ring with a cross on it for Christmas and I had a matching ring. Ten months later she passed away and her husband found the ring and gave it back to me. They both sit in my jewelry box.
When I was a little girl, my Mom would always let me try on her original/first wedding band ... thought it was so special!
My favorite funny jewelry memory is I wanted a pair of Diamond studs. My husband told me...NOT HAPPENING. So on Christmas morning when I saw this TV size box I realized it really wasn't happening. I opened the box. There was another wrapped box inside....I opened that box...I opened another box....HOLY SMOKES 6 boxes later and I had my studs. For those of you who know me or my husband no this is HUGE creativity for him. It was a great memory!!!
My favorite jewelry memory is going through my Mamaw's jewelry box. She always had the greatest things and she let us play with them. I'm actually wearing one of her rings now. :)
When I was about 4 years old, I remember my grandfather sitting at the table one day piecing together two necklaces into one strand. He was joining together a strand of faux pearls on gold wire and multi-colored glass hearts edged in gold. I asked him, “Granddaddy, what are you doing?” and he said, “I’m making you a bracelet out of your great-grandmother’s necklaces.” I gave him the BIGGEST hug ever! I was so excited! <3
My favorite jewelry memory is when my Daddy gave me a pair of REAL diamond earring when I finally got my ears pierced when I was 11! It was so special to me!

I don't buy jewelry often but I had "The 7th Crow" design a necklace made for my wife for her birthday. It was perfect! I was very picky as to how I wanted it to look, and my ever need was met. I will bring any future business to "The 7th Crow"
My favorite memory is my first pair of diamond earrings given to me by my mother!!!!
I am so moved and touched by all of your entries! Wow!!
My most special memory is when my husband bought me a beautiful necklace with our son's birthstone in it for my first Mother's Day. Now I have two special birthday pendants!
My favorite jewelry memory was creating the engagement ring for my wife. I got to pick out the diamonds and the setting. It was very special to be that much a part of the process. She still looks at her ring today with so much love and it makes me proud.

My favorite memory was my grandmother's costume jewelry box. She had tons of pins, rings, and necklaces. I loved the ones that were shaped like animals. She would let me pick one out to wear every time I visited.
My new travel souvenir thing is to buy a new ring on each major trip. In the past year I've bought turquoise rings in Jackson Hole, WY and Rocky Point, Mexico and most recently a Jasper ring in Jasper, Alberta Canada.
err it was supposed to show my name, Tippy on that last comment about rings.
